Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) is a six hour basic course that is suitable for staff who work in low risk environments, such as offices.
It can be delivered in two different ways: six hours in the classroom or three hours of eLearning and three hours of practical in the classroom.
Course Content
- First aid regulations.
- First aid kits for the workplace.
- Scene assessment, safety & hygiene.
- Initial assessment and recovery position.
- Airway problems such as choking.
- CPR and AED.
- Bleeding control.
- Shock.

- 6 hours, either:
- 1 day in the classroom or
- 3 hrs eLearning & 3 hrs practical
