Health & Safety Certificate

Health and Safety training is required by law. The basic requirements are laid down in the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999.

Our course is designed to create a better understanding of Health & Safety, with the emphasis on making staff safe for themselves and others and capable of identifying potential hazards. The course takes as its starting point the fact that most accidents are caused by lack of knowledge or carelessness.

The course focuses on the key regulations and seeks to demystify them. It aims to be practical in nature and is tailored to be relevant to your staff. Whilst some theory is essential, this is presented by a variety of methods including group exercises and scenarios. Students also undertake many practical exercises such as risk assessments and safe lifting and handling.
